Clearance items and floor models are final sale and are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds.


Limited Warranty

The Sofa Company provides a 1-year limited warranty from the date of delivery, covering manufacturing defects under normal household use.

This warranty is limited to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.


What is Covered

This warranty applies to the following:

Frame

  • Structural defects in the frame or joints

Leather

  • Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship

What is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, including softening of cushions over time
  • Natural variations in leather, including grain, texture, markings, or colour differences
  • Fading, stretching, or creasing that occurs with regular use
  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents, improper care, or cleaning products
  • Damage resulting from pets, sharp objects, or environmental conditions (sunlight, heat, humidity)
  • Commercial or non-residential use

These characteristics are considered normal and are not manufacturing defects.


Warranty Claims

If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect:

  • You must notify us within the 1-year warranty period
  • Proof of purchase is required
  • Photos and additional information may be requested to assess the claim

Resolution

If a claim is approved, The Sofa Company will determine the appropriate resolution at its sole discretion, which may include:

  • Repair of the item
  • Replacement of the defective part or product

Refunds are not provided under this warranty.


Additional Terms

  • Any repairs or replacements do not extend the original warranty period
  • Shipping or service fees related to warranty claims may apply and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis
